Construction Permit

This application is for commercial or residential construction permits. Please complete all information or application may not be accepted.

Please upload the following documents named in the format shown
a. Plans (1 pdf file, under 25 MB) in the order listed below:
  i. Cover sheet, site plan, construction plans
  ii.Date_Plans_Version#.pdf (ex. 07112019_Plans_v1.pdf)

b. Contractor documentation (state license, business license, driver’s license) IF first time submitting online.

Apply for a Component Permit

Component Permit

This application is for STAND ALONE mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or fire permits only. Subcontractors do not use this form, use the search option at the top.

Apply for a Land Disturbance Permit

Land Disturbance Permit

This application is required for any applicant wishing to conduct land disturbing activity. Upon submittal, you will be routed for review to agencies outside the City of Dunwoody, including, but not limited to, DeKalb County Water & Sewer and the Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission.

Apply for a Sign Permit

Sign Permit

This application is for permanent signs. All sign permit applications are not considered received by the department until the Community Development Director deems the application to be complete and accurate. Failure to submit this document in full and signed will result in an immediate denial of the application.

a. Written consent of the owner, or owner’s agent

b. Contractor documentation (occupational tax certificate and certificate of insurance)
